Action continued where it ended the previous day, the building of a new camp in a different location. However, as the new structure takes shape, the Narrator, Femi Sowoolu introduced the six remaining contestants one after the other to the viewers.

They were 10 when the Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS) VI kicked off inside Omodo forest, Aagba in Osun State, now there are six left. Viewers get to know more about the six brave men and women hunters left in the Order of Heroes in Quest to find the Horn of Valour.

Elvis Abogun is a 24 years old undergraduate of University of Lagos. Elvis hails from Delta State from a family of six sisters.
Oseyi Okoh, 21, hails from Rivers State. An undergraduate of the University of Benin; both her parents are professors.
Chisom Eluma is 21 from Imo State, is an undergraduate of the University of Port Harcourt. Chisom wants to give her prize money to her parents if she wins.

Uche Nwaezeapu, is 21 from Delta State. A graduate of economics, Uche says his "biggest fear is not getting rich."
Melvin Oduah also from Delta State is 25 years old. Melvin is a graduate of industrial chemistry. Like Chisom, Melvin is also one half of a set of twins.
Vivien Okafor is 21 and comes from Enugu State. She fears relationships, but loves Harry Potter.

Now we know them, but what do they know of each other? While Elvis and Chisom are aware that Oseyi’s parents are educationists (professors), no one seem to know anything about Melvin’s sisters aside the fact that they are six in number. While Uche and Melvin got Chisom’s birth date (16th of July) correctly, Vivien, her fellow female contestant didn’t. Uche’s nickname produces a haul of wild nicknames, while Melvin’s hobby exerts amusing responses from Vivien who said: "Melvin’s hobby is eating, because he loves food so much." Not even Vivien could tell what her favourite film is.

They accomplished the building of a new Palm-Boo Camp. By daybreak, they only have the surroundings to clear. Melvin describes building the new camp as stressful and annoying. "We didn’t even know we were going to move camps and the need for it anyway," he complains. In the same vein, Vivien said she felt "bad" when we were instructed to build a new tent.

Then attention turns to who will be the likely winner of GUS VI. Melvin did not mince words: "I think I’m going to win the Ultimate Search. I believe that I have everything it takes. I believe that I am strong enough. To have got to this stage shows that I have something and I believe that thing will take me to the end. So, I believe I can win the Gulder Ultimate Search. I think Uche is going to be with me when I find the Horn of Valour. I think Uche is going to be second."

What is more, Vivien gives it to Melvin. "I believe Melvin is going to win the Gulder Ultimate Search, because he is intelligent, he is very smart, though most times he doesn’t believe he is. One thing is that he doesn’t depend on the physical strength, most times he always has this God thing, you know, ‘God will help me’, God will do this and that…I really believe he could win. If he works well, he can get it." She thinks Elvis is good enough to come behind Melvin in second position. "Don’t mind his stature, Elvis is very strong."

Melvin got another vote from Oseyi. "I’ll choose Melvin to be the Ultimate Man, because he has the whole Gulder Man attributes. He’s friendly, he’s approachable and he’s Melvin." However, she added a comic jab. "I’ll choose Elvis to be with Melvin, that is - MelVis, because I said so."
Chisom who said she cannot tell who will win the contest added "By the grace of God, I’ll be the Last Girl Standing."
Uche is direct and to the point. "Uche is going to win the Gulder Ultimate Search and Melvin is going to be there with me when I win the Gulder Ultimate Search."

Elvis, like Chisom, is not too sure about who is going to win it. "I think everybody has the good quality of being the Gulder Ultimate Man or being it a Woman. I think everybody stands equal chance to win, I’m not so sure, everybody stands a good chance to win the Gulder Ultimate Search."

In response to the clue they found that morning, they collected bamboo to build a raft, strong enough to float on water and hold their fire. On their way to test the raft, they encountered Bob who simply told them "That means that you are ready for today’s challenge."

He explained that fire and water has featured prominently since the beginning of the search. "Throughout this Search for the Horn of Valour, fire and water have been two of your constant companions. You have been struggling with fire when you moved into the jungle, and of course, water was present both during tasks and as rain. Sometimes fire and water may be friends; at other times, they become enemies. The test today is to task your ability to see when friends can be enemies and vice versa."

They have to wade through the river with their raft carrying a fire stick Bob insists "Must not burn out." Meanwhile, their course is blessed with food inside hanging calabashes which they have to cut down for themselves as they made their tortuous journey against the currents and rapids of the river and maneuvering around rocks and falling trees and palm trees. All through the journey, Melvin maintains a tight grip on the fire stick.
Vivien described the task as "hard and interesting." Uche says "it’s wet and not too easy."

Getting the water out the water on a very slippery slope was the greatest challenge they faced during the task. At a point, the contents of the raft fell off, but they managed to keep the fire on and burning. Though, against instructions, Elvis has to lift the fire stick to position it better on the raft.
At the end of the task, they found the Hunter’s gun powder.
Bob congratulated them "for a task successfully completed."

A documentary on the allure and charm of Osun state as tourist destination put the host state on focus, giving the audience a deserved respite from the adrenaline that is fast become the Search for the Horn of Valour in Omodo forest.

Melvin described the day’s task as strange and difficult. "Everyday, Gulder Ultimate Search never stops surprising me. It’s a strange task. Nevertheless, it was interesting. I enjoyed the task."
Chisom says "The task was very tiring and hard. The more it (GUS) goes, the harder it becomes."
They arrived home with their food haul, but one of the calabashes bear an instruction, "You can only eat what you roast," meaning they are not allowed to cook the food they got, but only to eat.

Meanwhile, why are they talking about an eviction? Not even a single eviction, everyone seems to be contemplating double eviction as the next big thing to expect. What can one expect from GUS? Uche has the answer: "I don’t know what’s going to happen next in the Gulder Ultimate Search. I can only expect the unexpected."
